Unfortunately you can no longer sponsor a child
through ICCF Holland. However, you can sponsor
a child through our sister charity Kuwasha. All
donations are used for the education and health
of the child you sponsor.

The ICCF Holland foundation
For 30 years, ICCF Holland has been supporting
marginalised children in het south of Uganda. Many
families lack money to pay the school fees for their
children or medical aid. ICCF Holland was founded to
raise money to sponsor these children to provide
education and medical care through the Kibaale
Children's Centre.
We are a small organisation, run by volunteers. 99%
of the money we receive is send to the project in
Uganda. Our goal is to help the most needy children,
from baby to adult. The work includes improving the
health situation, running a primary and secondary
school and support the boys and girls finish a
professional education.
By concentrating on one single project we know the
situation and directly talk to the staff there. ICCF
Holland is being dissolved in 2025.
News
June 2025: Dissolving ICCF Holland:
After the loss of our founder and treasurer, Bram
Moolenaar, we did not manage to strengthen our
small team of volunteers (two people only). After
various exchanges with our sister charity
Kuwasha in Canada and the family of Bram we
decided to transfer our sponsors and activities to
Kuwasha who have more capacity to sustain the
activities in the long term. We will dissolve ICCF
Holland by the end of 2025. If you want to donate
to the Kibaale Children's Centre, or wish to
sponsor a child, please go to www.kuwasha.net.
September 2023: Passing away of Bram Moolenaar:
We are saddened to announce that the founder and treasurer of ICCF Holland, Bram Moolenaar, passed away on August 3, 2023. His death came unexpectedly for us. Bram has always been the driving force behind ICCF Holland, and many donations come in from the community surrounding the VIM software that Bram developed.
The fact that we have to miss Bram is a great loss for many. However, as the board of ICCF Holland, we are determined to continue the charity. Presently, we are arranging various practical issues to continue the charity. We will announce future adjustments, if relevant, via this website.
January 2022: Good news: the school has reopened! After a year of
lockdows we can start 2022 with the children in the classroom. We hope it
stays this way and they can catch up the missed lessons.
Spring 2021: I had just reported that the school reopened, now there is
a new lockdown. Unfortunately all schools will remain closed for 42 days to
stop the virus from spreading. That this suddenly changed is because there is
an unexpectedly sharp rise in cases in Uganda.
Summer 2020:
Corona also affects Uganda. The school at the project is currently closed.

March 2020:
Bram visited the project. You can read his report on the
news page.
An older video of Kibaale is now available on Youtube.
This one is from 2005, but still completely relevant.
